The Dublin Core metadata terms are a set of vocabulary terms which can be used to describe resources for the purposes of discovery.

The Simple Dublin Core Metadata Element Set (DCMES, purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/) consists of 15 metadata elements: Title, Creator, Subject, Description, Publisher, Contributor, Date, Type, Format, Identifier, Source, Language, Relation, Coverage, Rights. These terms was later refined and complemented with additional terms in the purl.org/dc/terms/ namespace.

The namespace URI Http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms that is based on the SMW-import-page MediaWiki:Smw import Dcterms (used, e.g. for RDF export) differs from the namespace URI definitions on Dublin Core (http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms)—please correct one of these.
